As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Data Analyst/Product Owner. As a company we have an entrepreneurial ethos and our new hire will be given significant responsibility in the business.

How do we do it?
We support our global clients to Improve their Consumers’ Quality Experience across all consumer relevant steps of the supply chain through a combination of the following services:
- Consumer & Product Experience – Through our Qual-X technology our Consumer Insights Team recruit and engage real consumers all over the world to understand their expectations, experiences and interaction with our client & competitor products and the impact of these experiences.
- Product & Retail Intelligence – Our vast researcher network in over 120 countries conduct 1,000’s of retail audits every year based on client standards. Using our Qual-X Technology, data from these audits is reported in a variety of ways depending on client needs. Our researchers can also purchase products from any market – either in store or through E-commerce – and ship to our clients for further evaluation or to Eolas laboratories for analytical testing.
- Laboratory & Sensory Research – Within our LabSens division our Analytical, Sensory & Proficiency Services work closely with our clients Quality and Technical personnel. We are the largest independent provider of Sensory services in Ireland, whilst our Proficiency service is the newest addition to our LabSens division and is experiencing considerable growth.

We are in search of a skilled and adept individual to fill the role of Data Analyst/Product Owner within our team. This multifaceted position requires a blend of data analysis proficiency, technical acumen including SQL and coding experience, as well as good statistical foundation.
What would you do?
The primary responsibility entails taking charge as the product owner for our “Flexicollect” App and Survey tool. This entails spearheading the enhancement initiatives, collaborating closely with developers, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders’ needs.
The role will involve hands-on work, from gathering requirements to crafting detailed specifications for development and testing plans. Additionally, the incumbent will serve as the go-to expert for Flexicollect, contributing to its architectural design to optimize automated reporting capabilities.
We envision this role being best suited for an individual with 3-5 years of industry experience who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the product owner for the “Flexicollect” App and Survey tool, guiding enhancements and liaising with developers to ensure successful implementation.
- Collect and analyze data to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making processes.
- Utilize SQL and coding skills to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
- Develop and maintain testing plans for enhancements, ensuring the quality and reliability of new features.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Flexicollect-related queries, providing expertise and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for developers.
- Architect surveys to facilitate better automated reporting and streamline data collection processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis, survey tools, and product management.
- Work with management team to explore & develop further opportunities for the business in areas such as data scraping and integrating AI into our data mix.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on product management or ownership.
- Proficiency in SQL and coding languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong statistical background, with the ability to apply statistical methods to analyze data and derive insights.
- Experience in guiding product enhancements and collaborating with developers in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with survey tools or similar applications is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
